Daywise Tour Itinerary
Pickup from NJP/Bagdogra or Darjeeling town. Drive to Lepchajagat (approx. 2.5 hrs). Check into a forest guesthouse. Spend the day in silence, surrounded by pine and rhododendron forests.
After breakfast, take guided forest walks or hike to nearby viewpoints. Great chance to spot exotic birds and butterflies. Optional picnic lunch in the woods. Sunset with mountain views.
Drive to Chatakpur (approx. 2 hrs), located inside the Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary. Stay in eco cottages with views of Kanchenjunga. Enjoy the evening with bonfire and local stories.
Wake early for sunrise over Kanchenjunga from the Chatakpur watchtower. After breakfast, check out and drive back to NJP/Bagdogra. En route optional stop at Tiger Hill or Batasia Loop. Tour ends.
